Bragolin

Bragolin is a Dutch dark wave/post-punk project, known for its strong melodic hooks present on gothic dance floors worldwide. Drawing from ’80s Bass VI lines, ’60s and ’70s organs, and ’90s shoegaze guitars, Bragolin blends vintage and modern elements into a sound inspired by post-apocalyptic and horror cinema.

Tension and dark-wave control coexist in their sound with an almost scientific patience, each element set in relation to the next. The result feels alert, forward-leaning, and acutely aware of the space it occupies, as if every second has been measured before it is released.

Dark, hypnotic and simmering with tension, “I Don’t Like What It Does To Me" unfolds as a restless journey through fear and escape. Definitely one of THE most eagerly expected releases in 2026.

NAO KATAFUCHI

Tokyo retro futurism meets European coldwave.

Nao Katafuchi

creates a cold, cinematic sonic world rooted in minimal synth and darkwave. Raised in Tokyo during the technological boom of the 1980s, he later moved to New York’s Lower East Side, where he emerged from the legendary Wierd Records scene alongside key figures of the minimal synth revival.

Blending melancholic Japanese and English lyrics with analog textures, he made his debut with

Yumegoto (2012), followed by Émergence (2015) and Stahlgrau (2019). He has shared stages with artists such as ChameleonsVox, Rational Youth, Psyche, Attrition, and Parade Ground, steadily building an international presence.

Now based in Germany for over a decade, he continues to expand his reach, with a new album

Lonely Fire scheduled for release in June 2026, ahead of an upcoming Latin American tour.

Isocult

Fixed Lens

A true exemplar of Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft, FIXED LENS emerged from the smoke-filled basement rooms of Berlin’s DIY scene in 2021 with their eponymous debut EP. Cold, driving machinery beats and ethereal synths establish the foundation for melancholic, chorus-drenched post-punk guitars.

A collaboration between machinist Matthias Gaese and singer/guitarist Robert Hanna, FIXED LENS paints a dystopian picture of an impending future, marred by an incessant surveillance state, colony collapse, and the dreary malaise of a society in decay.

Championing the spirit of guitar-driven bands such as  JOY DIVISION, KILLING JOKE, CHAMELEONS UK, and THE SOUND, the group simultaneously nods to the roots of Berlin’s electronic origin story in these six tracks. Engineered and mixed by the band in their studio throughout the first wave of the pandemic in 2020-2021, and mastered by Chris Hanzsek at Hanzsek Audio in Snohomish, WA in March 2021.
